Where does China Airlines fly to in the UK and Europe?

From the 1st December 2017 China Airlines will start a 4 times weekly non stop service from Gatwick to Taipei with onwards connections to Australia and New Zealand.

How do I get a quote for a group booking?

If you have 10 or more passengers travelling then you may qualify for a group fare.

Do I need a visa to visit or transit Taiwan if I am a British passport holder? 

No, if you are a British passport holder with at least 6 months' validity on your passport, then you will be allowed to enter Taiwan for a period of 90 days without a visa. It is also possible to extend this stay further once you are in Taiwan. It is the responsibility of the passenger to ensure he has the correct 

documentation to enter or transit Taiwan before departing the UK.

Can I pre-assign my seats on China Airlines flights?

Yes, the seating plan will be available to certain booking classes via your GDS 90 days before departure until 24 

hours prior to departure.  Seat assignment is on a complimentary basis, certain seats may be withheld until the day of departure, for example, emergency exit or bulkhead seats. These are 

normally available on the day on a first-come first-served basis. 

Do I have to pay for in-flight services such as food, drink, and headsets on China Airlines?

No, China Airlines is a full-service carrier, no charges are made for food, drink or headsets on our network. Unlike some of our competitors, we do not charge for this service. 

Can I book a special meal for my dietary requirement on China Airlines?

Yes, we offer a choice of 20 different special meals for people with dietary requirements, including 

Vegetarian, Vegan, Gluten-Free, Diabetic, Kosher, Hindu, Muslim, Low Fat, Low Salt and many more. You will need to contact our reservations department to discuss your requirements, please remember all special meals must be pre-booked, we would recommend doing so at least 48 hours before your flight departs.
